Jesus: The Anchor of My Soul

Who is our rock, and the anchor of our soul? 

I look around and I wonder. What do we cling to? Are we putting our trust in our worldly possessions?

What about the good deeds that we do?. Will they be enough to sustain us into the next life? Into eternity?

No earthly possessions or our deeds will ever usher our souls into the presence of God. Only a saving faith in Jesus Christ and His work on the cross is enough for salvation.

Hebrews 6:19 NKJV “This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil.”

This hope that the Bible talks about is Jesus. Jesus is the anchor of our soul. He is the hope that was set before us, which we shall lay hold of.

To be anchored in Christ is my hope. I created this Planner to remind myself of who I need daily. And that is Jesus! 

I want to be anchored in Him!
